American Special Hockey Association
"Life Skills Through Ice Hockey" Southern Connecticut Storm falls under the blanket of the American Special Hockey Association. Special Hockey Programs have been established in cities throughout the United States. The goal of Special Hockey is to give people with physical and Developmental Disabilities the chance to play the sport of Ice Hockey in an environment which is adapted to the level of ability which the athletes are able to participate. There are more than 60 teams and growing across the nation.
NYRangers Assist
New York Rangers Assist supported by Chase The New York Rangers, New York Rangers Alumni Association and Chase are teaming up to organize Charity Hockey Games to support youth hockey. These grassroots programs increase access to the game of hockey, break down barriers to entry, introduce the game to new players, and keep hockey growing and vibrant in our communities.
