Mission of Southern Connecticut Storm Special Hockey, Inc.

The purpose of Southern Connecticut Storm Special Hockey is to give children and young adults ages 5 and up with developmental disabilities, who are physically able, the opportunity to play ice hockey in an environment that is adapted to their ability level.  Through the game of hockey, the program teaches the player the life skills of dependability, self reliance, accountability, focus and concentration as well as the willingness to share that can be used both in hockey and life.
